Letter From Senator Ossoff
Dear Reader,
As Georgia’s U.S. Senator, I strive to serve with excellence, humility, and a relentless focus on results for our State.
Here are some of the results my team and I have delivered for Georgia in my third year in office:
I’ve relentlessly worked to upgrade Georgia’s infrastructure through the historic bipartisan infrastructure law, delivering resources for an unprecedented expansion of broadband internet access; upgraded ports, airports, roads, bridges, and water infrastructure statewide; and accelerated planning of passenger rail to connect major cities across the Southeast.
I’ve championed Georgia’s economic development, working to implement manufacturing incentives and infrastructure upgrades to cement Georgia’s place as the national leader in advanced energy innovation and manufacturing. According to a recent study, Georgia has received more clean energy manufacturing investment since passage of the Inflation Reduction Act than any other state in the nation.
I’ve focused on supporting Georgia’s servicemembers and military families, helping deliver the largest pay raise for servicemembers in decades and vital upgrades to Georgia’s defense installations. I passed into law bills helping Georgia’s young military families afford housing, providing military spouses more job flexibility when transferring to reserve units, and expanding access for military families to mental health care.
I have continued to honor our commitment to our Nation’s veterans. This past year, I wrote and passed bipartisan legislation to expand support for small businesses that are owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans. I led inquiries into wait times and delays at VA facilities, and I continue to advocate for veterans’ access to mental health care. My team and I have helped thousands of individual Georgia veterans cut through red tape to access the benefits they’ve earned.
Focused on supporting our state’s farmers, ranchers, and growers, I’ve traveled across Georgia to meet with agricultural leaders to hear their concerns and champion their work. I spearheaded a successful effort to open the Indian market — with more than one billion consumers — to Georgia pecan exports. I introduced legislation to improve research and development for precision agriculture; modernize and improve the U.S. Forest Service’s Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) program; and ensure Georgia citrus growers have a seat at the table when guiding key decisions for the industry. I also delivered funding to help Georgia farmers sell food to local schools.
Every day, I am focused on Georgia families’ safety and health, especially the health of newborn babies, young children, and mothers. I’ve delivered resources to train more pediatric health care workers in Georgia, introduced legislation to increase access to fresh, nutritious food, and championed Head Start programs across the State.
Defending public safety, I passed into law bipartisan legislation to protect children from online predators and delivered Federal funding strengthening State and Local efforts to fight violent crime, aid firefighters and other first responders, and to improve Georgia’s response to the opioid epidemic.
I’ve led hard-hitting bipartisan investigations that highlighted the abuse and exploitation suffered by children in our Nation’s foster care system; and have continued to shine a light on corruption and abuse in prisons and jails.
My team and I have provided highly responsive constituent services to thousands of Georgians, helping seniors access Medicare and Social Security, ensuring veterans receive their benefits, solving passport and visa problems for constituents, and more.

Supporting Georgia’s Servicemembers and Their Families
Senator Ossoff continues to champion Georgia’s servicemembers and military families.
In 2023, Senator Ossoff helped deliver the largest pay raise for servicemembers in decades and passed into law several pieces of legislation helping Georgia’s young military families afford housing, giving military spouses more job flexibility when transferring to reserve units, and expanding access for military families to mental health care.
Senator Ossoff led several efforts in the Senate to ensure military housing across Georgia and the United States is suitable for hardworking enlisted servicemembers and their families.
Throughout the year, Senator Ossoff inspected multiple military installations in the state, meeting with senior commanders and junior enlisted personnel. During these inspections, he evaluated both military readiness and quality of life for Georgia’s dedicated servicemembers and their families.
In April, following-up on his 8-month bipartisan investigation into the mistreatment of military families in privatized housing on U.S. military bases, Senator Ossoff convened a Georgia Military Housing Oversight Session, where he brought together military families serving at Fort Eisenhower with senior U.S. Army officials to discuss the current state of housing conditions.
In 2023, Senator Ossoff passed a key provision of his bipartisan Military Facilities Upgrades Act into law, which will improve the processes for replacing damaged and older barracks on military installations in Georgia and nationwide. This will ensure members of the armed forces have access to high-quality infrastructure to perform their jobs and continue keeping the nation safe.
Senator Ossoff also led vigorous oversight of the Department of Defense and military installations across Georgia to protect servicemembers and their families.
Senator Ossoff led bipartisan inquiries into the long wait times military families are facing during their permanent change of station moves; and pushed the DoD to more effectively monitor privatized housing conditions that may pose a risk to military families’ health and safety.
As part of the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), Senator Ossoff passed into law legislation authorizing key infrastructure upgrades on Georgia’s military installations, including upgrades to Fort Gillem’s Forensics Lab, which is vital to U.S. counterterrorism efforts; modernizing Ft. Eisenhower’s cyber center; constructing a new Battle Management Complex at Robins Air Force Base; and authorizing construction of a new child development center on post at Ft. Eisenhower, a new elementary school on post at Ft. Moore, and new aircraft hangars at Hunter Army Airfield.
Senator Ossoff also pushed for and championed the selection of Moody Air Force Base to host the next F-35A mission, a major step forward in ongoing efforts to strengthen and sustain Moody Air Force Base for decades to come.
Helping Georgia’s Veterans
Senator Ossoff remains focused on serving Georgia’s veterans and their families.
Senator Ossoff fought all year to ensure Georgia’s veterans have access to the health care they earned.
Senator Ossoff passed through the U.S. Senate funding to expand access to mobile mammography units, improve advanced mammography equipment, and enhance outreach services to better publicize mammography services.
He worked to implement the PACT Act, ensuring Georgia veterans signed up for new benefits through the bipartisan law he championed to strengthen and expand health care benefits for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits.
Senator Ossoff launched an inquiry with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) into excessive delays with the VA Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA), which decides whether or not veterans are entitled to claimed veterans’ benefits and services. Senator Ossoff demanded answers from the VA on what is causing lengthy delays for decisions and why there is a lack of communication with veterans on their pending benefits claims.
In 2023, Senator Ossoff passed into law his bipartisan Investing in VETS Act, which will help more service-disabled veteran small business owners compete for Federal contracts and boost opportunities.
He also continued to push the National Archives of the United States (NARA) to reduce the backlog of veterans’ record requests, which are needed to ensure veterans receive the benefits they earned.

Throughout the year, Senator Ossoff’s constituent services team assisted Georgia veterans with their casework needs. Senator Ossoff’s caseworkers helped veterans schedule critical timely appointments at the VA, secure copies of their service record necessary for civilian employment after service, access necessary upgrades to their homes to accommodate service-related injuries, and so much more.

Upgrading Georgia’s Infrastructure
Senator Ossoff continues delivering resources to upgrade Georgia’s infrastructure.
The bipartisan infrastructure law, signed into law in November 2021, is upgrading Georgia’s roads, bridges, highways, seaports, airports, getting lead pipes out of drinking water systems, expanding broadband internet access, and more.
This year, Senator Ossoff delivered new resources to rebuild our infrastructure across the state.
Senator Ossoff delivered a historic $1.3 billion in bipartisan infrastructure law funding to expand high-speed internet across the state — ensuring families, businesses, and farmers have access to the internet. These resources will continue to flow to the State of Georgia to get thousands more families online.
Senator Ossoff also delivered resources to dozens of cities and counties across Georgia to improve safety for both drivers and pedestrians through the bipartisan infrastructure law’s Safe Streets for All program. For example, Senator Ossoff delivered $30 million to improve safety for pedestrians and bikers in downtown Atlanta and funds to promote better connectivity in Valdosta.
After Senator Ossoff heard directly from families, community leaders, and public safety officials about concerns with blocked railroad crossings, Senator Ossoff brought home bipartisan infrastructure law grants to help communities eliminate railway-highway crossings, improving safety and strengthening supply chains.
Working closely with local leaders, Senator Ossoff delivered historic bipartisan infrastructure law grants to accelerate construction of the Atlanta BeltLine; to expand public transportation for families across Gwinnett County; and to add pedestrian pathways, complete sidewalk connections, and implement solar-powered lighting fixtures throughout the Oconee Heights neighborhood in Baldwin County.
Senator Ossoff also continues to champion design of new passenger rail connections in Georgia and across the Southeast. After delivering a historic $8 million investment to begin planning a passenger rail line between Atlanta and Savannah, Senator Ossoff secured three new bipartisan infrastructure law grants to accelerate planning of passenger rail between Atlanta-Savannah; Atlanta-Charlotte; and Atlanta-Nashville.
Fighting for Georgia’s Farmers & Growers
In 2023, Senator Ossoff continued his advocacy for Georgia’s number-one industry: agriculture.
After meeting with pecan farmers in 2022, Senator Ossoff aggressively pushed the Indian government to lower its tariffs on Georgia pecans. In a huge win for Georgia farmers, Senator Ossoff worked behind the scenes for months with U.S. trade negotiators and Indian government officials to successfully open the Indian market for Georgia pecan growers and lower tariffs by 70%, which was announced in early 2023.
Senator Ossoff brought the U.S. Trade Representative to the state of Georgia to meet with Georgia’s agricultural leaders and discuss how to reduce barriers to trade and expand markets for Georgia’s key agricultural producers.
Senator Ossoff successfully worked to deliver fresh Georgia-grown food to Georgia students.
This spring, Senator Ossoff joined with community officials to announce a new partnership between the State of Georgia and U.S. Department of Agriculture to purchase locally grown, fresh foods for children in Georgia schools.
He also introduced a bipartisan bill that would improve access for Georgia kids to fresh produce grown by Georgia farmers through the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.
As Congress continues working on legislation to reauthorize key agricultural programs, Senator Ossoff convened with farmers and growers throughout the State of Georgia who grow and produce citrus, blueberries, onions, peaches, and more.
Senator Ossoff introduced legislation to improve research and development for precision agriculture; modernize and improve the U.S. Forest Service’s Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) program; and ensure Georgia citrus growers have a seat at the table when guiding key decisions for the industry.
Senator Ossoff delivered Federal grants to help farmers generate new products, create and expand marketing, and boost income. The grant funding will support pecan, cattle, poultry, and beef producers across the state.
Senator Ossoff continued to advocate for Georgia farmers and growers, leading a bipartisan, bicameral group of lawmakers in successfully urging the Biden Administration to help Southeastern seasonal producers affected by unfair trade practices, and promote the competitiveness of seasonal produce producers in the southeastern United States.
Creating Georgia Jobs & Making Georgia the Clean Energy Leader
Shortly after taking office, Senator Ossoff set a goal to establish Georgia as the leading State in advanced energy innovation and manufacturing and has since passed into law legislation that has made Georgia the top state in the nation for advanced energy manufacturing and investment.
In 2023, Senator Ossoff helped deliver historic economic investments to create jobs and expand economic opportunities in every corner of Georgia. According to a recent study, Georgia has received more clean energy manufacturing investment since passage of the Inflation Reduction Act than any other state in the nation.
In January of 2023, Senator Ossoff helped announce a historic $2.5 billion investment by Qcells to significantly expand solar manufacturing, coming as a result of Senator Ossoff’s Solar Energy Manufacturing for America Act — marking the largest clean energy manufacturing investment in American history.
In May, following his third economic delegation to the Republic of Korea, Senator Ossoff announced a partnership between LG and Hyundai to build an electric vehicle battery plant as part of the new Hyundai MetaPlant in Bryan County.
This summer, Senator Ossoff joined with local leaders to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new manufacturing facility in Bainbridge, which will manufacture key components for electric vehicles — made possible by a $117 million bipartisan infrastructure law grant.
Keeping Georgia Families Healthy
In 2023, Senator Ossoff focused on keeping Georgia’s families safe and healthy.
Throughout the year, Senator Ossoff took action when families were facing key shortages of medicines, including over-the-counter medicine for children and life-saving chemotherapy drugs. He also called on insurance companies to cover more products and services to help Georgia moms who are breastfeeding.
Working across the aisle, Senator Ossoff delivered $1.5 million in Federal funding to address the nursing workforce shortage by building a new instructional facility at Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon.
Senator Ossoff also delivered over $22 million for Early Head Start, Head Start, and Pre-K programs across the State to help Georgia families access early childhood education and developmental programs and give kids the opportunities to learn and grow.
Focused on ensuring Georgia children get the care they need, Senator Ossoff delivered Federal resources to Egleston Children’s Hospital at Emory University and Scottish Rite Children’s Medical Center to help train and retain more pediatric physicians and specialists.
This fall, Senator Ossoff joined community leaders in Fort Valley to celebrate the grand opening of CareConnect’s expanded Fort Valley health clinic — a project to which Senator Ossoff delivered funding in 2022 with Republican and Democratic support.

Fighting Corruption & Human Rights Abuses
This Congress, Senator Ossoff took the gavel as Chairman of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Human Rights and the Law, where he has continued his work to tackle corruption, abuse, and misconduct impacting the health and safety of Georgians and all Americans.
Senator Ossoff convened a bipartisan hearing to explore the implications of AI for human rights, featuring testimony from a mother who was a victim of an AI-deepfake scam. The Subcommittee heard testimony from expert witnesses about the existential threats and extraordinary opportunities posed by recent advancements in AI as Congress works to understand this rapidly advancing technology.
In early 2023, following reports from independent watchdogs and the press that children in the care of Georgia’s foster care agency had been subjected to abuse and neglect, Chairman Ossoff and Ranking Member Blackburn launched a bipartisan inquiry to assess the safety of children in foster care nationwide.
In the fall, Chairman Ossoff and the Human Rights Subcommittee convened a series of Federal hearings exploring the human rights of foster children, receiving testimony from former foster children, child welfare advocates, juvenile court judges, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and from key Federal agencies responsible for protecting the human rights of foster children nationwide.
Continuing his focus on the prison system in Georgia and across the country, Senator Ossoff continued his Federal oversight following reports of inadequate care in Federal, state, and local prisons and jails.
Senator Ossoff called for a civil rights investigation into alleged mistreatment and abuse of inmates in the Clayton County Jail, highlighting the deaths of several inmates in the facility and reports of medical neglect.
Following the report of another inmate death at Fulton County Jail, Senator Ossoff launched an inquiry to strengthen DOJ oversight of jails and prisons where brutal treatment and other human rights abuses have been reported.
Senator Ossoff also introduced leading bipartisan legislation to overhaul Federal oversight over the Bureau of Prisons and strengthen safety in communities nationwide.
Strengthening Public Safety
Senator Ossoff remains focused on strengthening public and community safety in Georgia.
Senator Ossoff introduced and passed into law the Preventing Child Sex Abuse Act, which strengthens Federal laws providing protection against abusers who coerce children into sexual activity online, such as through messaging platforms or webcams, and establishes a new criminal offense for leaders using their organization or charity to further illicit sexual contact.
Senator Ossoff also passed through the U.S. Senate bipartisan legislation to strengthen the national tipline run by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which is needed to collect reports of online exploitation and would require evidence to be preserved for a longer period, giving law enforcement more time to investigate and prosecute crimes.
Senator Ossoff pressed the Department of Justice to protect children across Georgia, pushing to ensure that the FBI had sufficient staffing levels needed to investigate crimes involving children online, and to increase resources needed to prosecute cases involving the creation of child sex abuse material (CSAM) through artificial intelligence technology.
Senator Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to deliver Federal resources that are helping local law enforcement agencies purchase new vehicles, upgrade equipment, improve training, and keep law enforcement agents safe — all to improve public safety across Georgia.
This included Federal funding through the U.S. Department of Justice’s Project Safe Neighborhoods Program for Georgia’s Northern, Middle, and Southern District U.S. Attorneys to coordinate Federal, state, and local law enforcement efforts and help reduce violent crime.
Senator Ossoff delivered a $7 million Federal investment to improve Georgia’s response to the opioid epidemic, helping cities and counties across the state strengthen programs aimed at prevention and harm reduction, recovery support, and criminal intervention and diversion.
Focused on keeping families safe from fire emergencies, Senator Ossoff pushed and delivered resources to communities across the state for equipment upgrades, firefighter training programs, wellness and fitness programs, and more.
Enhancing Education for Georgia’s Next Generation & Championing Georgia’s HBCUs
With businesses across the state facing workforce shortages, Senator Ossoff is championing efforts in the U.S. Senate to the pass the bipartisan JOBS Act to help more students access and afford job training programs.
The bipartisan bill would ensure that students across Georgia enrolled in high-quality short-term skills and job training programs have access to Pell Grants to complete their education and workforce development programs. Currently, Pell Grants may only be used for two- and four-year colleges and universities.
Senator Ossoff secured a commitment from U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to work with him and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to ensure the Nonprofit Security Grant Program is allocated an appropriate level of funding for HBCU’s and religious institutions. FEMA’s Federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program provides funding for target hardening and other physical security enhancements and activities to nonprofit organizations that are at higher risk of attacks.
Protecting Georgia’s Natural Resources & Expanding Tourism
Senator Ossoff continues working to preserve Georgia’s natural landscapes and expand public access opportunities, so that our children and future generations can continue to experience our State’s natural beauty and recreation.
Following Senator Ossoff’s bipartisan push, the National Park Service announced it intends to nominate the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge for UNESCO’s World Heritage Site list. The designation for the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge would encourage environmental protection and economic prosperity and tourism for the region, as well as support efforts to protect and preserve the Refuge’s natural and cultural resources and further important scientific exploration and analysis.
In October, Senator Ossoff delivered a $1.6 million Federal grant through the Land and Water Conservation Fund to improve safety, connectivity, and preservation within Stephen C. Foster State Park within the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge.
Senator Ossoff continued his work to protect Coastal Georgia communities from the effects of sea level rise and flooding.
In December, Senator Ossoff delivered $897,000 in Federal grants through the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) National Coastal Resilience Fund to help protect residents and homes from flooding on Tybee Island and in the City of St. Marys.
Senator Ossoff also pushed to deliver funding and resources through the bipartisan infrastructure law to improve coastal resilience throughout the Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor, including protected lands in Coastal Georgia, and later delivered $536,000 in funding through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association’s Climate-Ready Coasts Initiative.
Working alongside Senator Reverend Warnock, Senator Ossoff passed his bipartisan bill to establish West Hunter Street Baptist Church as a National Historic Site and honor Reverend Ralph David Abernathy, Sr. through the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources.
Constituent Services Snapshot
Senator Ossoff’s constituent services team works to help families cut through red tape to access the services they deserve, from resolving issues with Social Security and Medicare, to helping families obtain passports, and ensuring servicemembers, veterans, and their families receive their VA benefits.
In 2023, Senator Ossoff and his team helped individual Georgia taxpayers, organizations, and businesses recover nearly $15 million owed to them by the IRS and other Federal agencies.

Passports
Facing significantly increased international travel, Senator Ossoff’s constituent services team successfully helped over 2,700 Georgians schedule appointments with the United States Passport Office for largely urgent and time sensitive requests, with an average of 14 days from contacting our team.
Seniors
Carole Hunt, a retiree in Roswell, Georgia reached out to Senator Ossoff’s office seeking assistance receiving her daily mail delivery as she undergoes cancer treatments and cannot make it to her mailbox. Instead of mailing her a privacy release form, a member of Senator Ossoff’s team visited Carole’s home to hand deliver the form and show her how to correspond with our office via email. Our office opened casework with USPS and secured a mailbox and delivery right to her front door — ensuring she could retrieve her important mail and her Christmas cards. In Carole’s own words, “Call Jon Ossoff if you have a problem.”

After one Georgian’s former employer misinformed him about the special enrollment period for Medicare in November, he found out his insurance would lapse at the end of 2023. Needing health insurance to cover his monthly medical bills, which would have cost $20,000 out-of-pocket, Senator Ossoff’s team escalated an inquiry to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and helped restore his Medicare Part B eligibility before the start of the Holiday season.

Another Medicare recipient reached out to the Senator’s office for help after receiving a bill sent by his orthopedic physician. The bill was paid by Medicare but was later retracted. Senator Ossoff’s office submitted an inquiry to Medicare, and his orthopedic bill was successfully reduced from $2,000.00 to $45.00.

After losing her husband in Fall of 2022, a Georgia retiree mistakenly stopped receiving her own Social Security benefit checks after returning her deceased husband’s check. She reached out to the office and within one week Senator Ossoff’s team had arranged a meeting with a Social Security Administration representative to get her the benefits she was owed. Just one week later she began receiving her benefits again, as well as over $3,000 in back benefits.

A Georgia Senior contacted Senator Ossoff’s office to request help with an appointment with the Social Security Administration. His income was reduced due to loss of employment, and he had made several unsuccessful attempts to update his information with them. Senator Ossoff’s office secured the Georgian an appointment with Social Security Administration and his current income was updated. He was able to retire with his full benefits.
Veterans and Military Families
Darryl Irvin, a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired Georgia State Patrolman from Peachtree City, GA, reached out to Senator Ossoff’s office seeking assistance with expensive medical care for his service dog, who he received after coming back from Desert Storm. Darryl struggled to navigate the VA’s service dog program. He said, “I was getting nowhere.” After 5 years of trying, Darryl reached out to Senator Ossoff’s office and his team broke through the red tape in just three weeks to get Darryl and Bella the care she needed.
Darryl said, “I don’t even know how to say thank you enough, ‘cause it’s worth more than you could ever say.”
A recently separated Marine Corps Veteran from Georgia reached out to Senator Ossoff’s office two months after discharging from the Marine Corps. The Veteran was attempting to start a new job as a civilian, but required a copy of his service records. Understanding how essential these records are to ensure our nation’s Veterans can compete for civilian jobs, Senator Ossoff’s office worked quickly and ensured he received a copy of his records within a week.

A disabled Veteran from Georgia reached out to Senator Ossoff’s office after having surgery at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. After discharge he began feeling pain around the surgery site and reached out to the VA to schedule a follow up appointment. Even though the surgical site was infected and could have been life threatening without intervention, the VA scheduled him for an appointment in two months. Senator Ossoff’s team found that unacceptable and secured him an appointment within a week after he reached out.

A Veteran from Georgia reached out to Senator Ossoff’s office after his in-home stair lift malfunctioned, leaving him stranded on the first floor of his home. The Veteran contacted the VA for over 6 months with no response. Senator Ossoff’s office worked with the VA Medical Center Prosthetics Office to secure a repair of his lift within 30 days.

The widow of a recently deceased Veteran reached out to Senator Ossoff’s office months after having submitted an application for Dependency Indemnity Compensation with no response. Senator Ossoff’s office was able to secure her benefits within two weeks.
Small Businesses
John Curry, the owner of Buona Caffe Artisan Roasted Coffee in Augusta, Georgia, was struggling to access benefits he qualified for through the Small Business Administration. The day after John reached out to Senator Ossoff’s office, Senator Ossoff called him personally to say we were going to work on it. The Senator’s team helped cut through red tape to ensure John and his wife received the refund they were owed so they could pay their employees and keep their business open.
John said, “I would recommend that if you have a small business and there is something that is a concern for you that you contact Senator Ossoff. It’s very refreshing to have an elected official that actually listens to the people he represents.”
Student Loans
After completing 120 student loan payments as a government employee, a constituent recognized he qualified for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF), but the Department of Education was not recognizing all of his qualified payments. After five months of trying to get the agency to correct the error, he contacted Senator Ossoff’s office. Eight days after Senator’s office reached out to the Department of Education on the Georgian’s behalf, his student loans were forgiven.
Health Care
A Georgia mother reached out to Senator Ossoff’s office after the State of Georgia terminated three of her children’s health insurance without notice. She also was looking for assistance renewing her family’s SNAP benefits and was having a difficult time getting through to a Georgia Division of Family and Children’s Services (DFCS) representative. Senator Ossoff’s team was able to reach out to DFCS directly on her behalf and got her children reenrolled in Medicaid and her family’s SNAP benefits were reactivated. She later told Senator Ossoff’s team, “I have Senator Ossoff’s office number saved because I know who to call when I’m in trouble.”
IRS
One Georgian reached out to Senator Ossoff’s office seeking assistance obtaining his 2021 and 2022 Federal Tax Refunds after significant delays. Senator Ossoff’s office submitted an inquiry on his behalf, and the IRS discovered that they had made an error and deposited the more than $26,000 owed to him.
Visas
A Georgian reached out for assistance as her brother was applying for a visa to be reunited with his family in Georgia. While her brother was brought to the United States when he was 2 years old, he returned to his home country to reenter the U.S. with an immigrant visa. After her brother struggled to schedule an available interview and to prove his qualification for Child Status Protection Act (CSPA), Senator Ossoff’s team was able to help him secure an interview and provide the proper documentation to the consulate. His visa was then issued, and he was reunited with his family in Georgia.
