After Pressure from Sen. Ossoff, Trump Administration Restores Funding for HBCU Students Studying Agriculture

Washington D.C. — The Trump Administration is restoring HBCU scholarships after pressure from U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff.

Today, Sen. Ossoff released the following statement:

“The Trump Administration should never have paused this funding in the first place. I will continue my oversight to ensure that Georgia HBCU students receive the support Congress directed to them.”

Yesterday, Sen. Ossoff urged the Administration to immediately reinstate this funding for Georgia HBCU students who support agriculture.
