Roswell, Ga. — U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is delivering new resources to help upgrade Liberty Square Park in downtown Roswell.
Today Sen. Ossoff announced he is delivering new resources for the City of Roswell’s Liberty Square Park Transformation Project, which aims to build a new playground, shade structure, picnic pavilion, and community garden at Liberty Square Park.
Sen. Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to deliver $1,769,000 for the project through this year’s bipartisan government funding package, working alongside Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock.
“There’s nothing like a day in the park with our kids,” Sen. Ossoff said. “That’s why I brought Republicans and Democrats together to help Roswell’s ongoing efforts to upgrade Liberty Square Park and expand access to playgrounds, picnics, and community gardens. I thank Mayor Kurt Wilson for bringing this proposal to my office and for his leadership in the community.”
“Senator Ossoff’s commitment to securing $1,769,000 for the Liberty Square Park Transformation project is a testament to his dedication to enhancing our community’s spaces and ensuring accessible recreational opportunities for all,” said Roswell Mayor Kurt Wilson. “His advocacy and support demonstrate a deep understanding of the importance of investing in our public spaces, and we are immensely grateful for his efforts.”
