Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff today announced Federal grant funding is available to help improve connectivity across Georgia through the bipartisan infrastructure law.
The Reconnecting Communities Pilot (RCP) Grant Program, made possible by the bipartisan infrastructure law, offers Federal grant funding to improve access to economic opportunity, education, health care, recreation, and more through a competitive U.S. Department of Transportation grant process.
Sen. Ossoff is encouraging Georgia’s local governments, metropolitan planning organizations, and nonprofits to submit applications for the competitive bipartisan infrastructure law grant program and to reach out to his office for any assistance.
The deadline for RCP grant applications is September 30, 2024, and applications can be submitted aquí at grants.gov.
“Our bipartisan infrastructure law will continue to deliver long-overdue upgrades to Georgia’s infrastructure for years to come,” Sen. Ossoff said. “I encourage Georgia communities to contact me and my office with any questions about this grant opportunity.”
