Washington, D.C. –– U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is working to make internet access more affordable for Georgia families.
Today, Sen. Ossoff launched a new audio PSA encouraging Georgians to apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program, which was expanded through the bipartisan infrastructure law.
Those who are eligible can receive up to a $30/month discount on internet services and other one-time discounts on laptops, tablets, desktop computers, and more.
Georgians can find more information about who qualifies for the Affordable Connectivity Program and learn how to apply for the benefit at GetInternet.Gov or by contacting your internet provider.
“My office is standing by to help Georgians access affordable high-speed internet through this new service. Just call us at 470-786-7800 or visit Ossoff.senate.gov,” Sen. Ossoff said.
According to the Georgia Department of Education, over 640,000 Georgians already enrolled in the program.
Sen. Ossoff continues working to expand high-speed internet access for Georgians across the state.
Earlier this year, Sen. Ossoff announced a historic $1.3 billion investment to expand high-speed internet across Georgia through the bipartisan infrastructure law.
