Resources will help Twin City purchase new police cars to strengthen public safety
Twin City, Ga. — U.S. Senators Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff delivered public safety upgrades to help keep Twin City families safe.
Sens. Ossoff and Warnock are delivering $51,870 through the United States Department of Agriculture for the Twin City Police Department to purchase two new patrol vehicles and strengthen public safety in the community.
“Senator Reverend Warnock and I are pleased to have delivered these public safety upgrades for the Twin City Police Department. We remain committed to public safety for every community in Georgia,” Sen. Ossoff said.
“These latest federal investments secured by Senator Ossoff and I will help our rural communities adopt energy efficient systems and invest in public safety, and help local small businesses thrive,” said Senator Reverend Warnock. “Our rural communities are the heart of our state and have too often been left behind when it comes to federal funding, so I’ll keep working in Washington to reverse that trend and make sure Georgia is getting its fair share of federal resources.”
Sens. Ossoff and Warnock continue to deliver resources to rural communities in Georgia.
Earlier this year, Sen. Ossoff successfully secured bipartisan support in Congress to help Allentown build a new fire station, ensuring their firefighters have the equipment and resources necessary to uphold the health and safety of the community.
