Sen. Ossoff Commemorates 23rd Anniversary of 9/11 Terrorist Attacks

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff today released the following statement.

“I join all Georgians in remembering the thousands of innocent lives brutally taken from us by terrorists on September 11, 2001.

“Today we also honor and thank the brave firefighters, EMTs, and law enforcement officers who rushed into harm’s way that day, whose heroism represents the very best of what it means to be American — putting what we share above all else, and looking out for one another as a community, a nation, and a human family.

“Let the memories of those we lost on September 11, 2001, forever be a blessing.”
