Sen. Ossoff Delivering Funding to Upgrade Army’s Cyber Center of Excellence

Augusta, Ga. — U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is delivering funding to upgrade Ft. Eisenhower’s Cyber Center of Excellence.

The funding comes after Sen. Ossoff passed into law his Ft. Eisenhower Cyber Center Enhancement Act through the FY24 National Defense Authorization Act, which authorized construction of new classrooms at the Cyber Center of Excellence.

Now, the funding will go toward the construction of new classrooms for Ft. Eisenhower’s Cyber Center of Excellence, which provides essential training to cyber, electronic warfare, and signal professionals in the U.S. Army.

“The world-class Cyber Center of Excellence is crucial to U.S. national security, and the Georgians who serve there are heroes who need the infrastructure, space and facilities necessary to do their jobs to maximum effectiveness. Following passage of my Ft. Eisenhower Cyber Center Enhancement Act, I’ve secured these resources with bipartisan support to fund this project that will expand classroom capacity,” Sen. Ossoff said.

Sen. Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to deliver $163 million for the project through this year’s bipartisan government funding package.
