Sen. Ossoff Honors Georgia’s Veterans

Atlanta, Ga. — U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff today released the following statement.

“To all who have served, who have sacrificed, and to your families, on behalf of the U.S. Senate and the State of Georgia, thank you for your selfless sacrifice and for your service to our country.

“I see one of my most solemn duties and responsibilities in the U.S. Senate as serving Georgia’s veterans and their families. Each and every one of Georgia’s veterans and their families have made tremendous sacrifices in defense of our nation, and our entire country owes them a debt of gratitude.

“We owe America’s veterans the very best health care and the very best service to reflect that gratitude. My team and I continue working to help Georgians access veterans’ benefits, navigate the VA system, and advocate for legislation that will improve the quality and responsiveness of veterans’ services.

“If any veterans are having difficulty getting an appointment, getting a referral to community care, or accessing service records to unlock earned benefits, my staff and I are here to help you — please reach out at ossoff.senate.gov.”
