Sen. Ossoff Statement on Texas Synagogue Attack

Atlanta, Ga. –– Today, U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff released the following statement.

“This weekend’s attack on Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas, has shaken the Jewish community in Georgia and nationwide.

“As we have throughout our history, Jews refuse to be intimidated by cowardly anti-Semitic attacks.

“We join our fellow Americans of all faiths and ethnicities to defy hatred and deepen our commitments to tolerance, mutual respect, freedom of religion, and peaceful co-existence.

“Today I spoke with rabbis and Jewish leaders across Georgia and the leadership at the FBI’s Atlanta Field Office. My staff and I are standing by to connect Georgia’s Jewish organizations and congregations — and all faith communities threatened by violence — with federal, state, or local law enforcement resources.”
