Sens. Ossoff, Rev. Warnock Announce Application Process for Impending Vacancies on U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and U.S. Attorneys for Georgia 

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senators Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock today announced the application process for the impending vacancy on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and vacancies for U.S. Attorneys for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia. 

In January, U.S. attorneys for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia of Georgia announced their resignations. This month, Chief U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten Sr. of the Northern District of Georgia announced he would take senior status in May.  

To fill the vacancies, Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock will jointly accept applications for the position before the Senators make their final recommendations to President Trump. 

Applications for the U.S. District Court Judge position can be found here. Applications for the U.S. Attorneys positions can be found here. Applications for all positions will be accepted until Friday, March 28, at 5 p.m. ET.
