Washington, D.C. –– U.S. Senators Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are working to make internet access more affordable for low-income Georgians.

Sens. Rev. Warnock and Ossoff are encouraging Georgians to apply for the new Affordable Connectivity Program, which was created through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

More than three million low-income households in Georgia are eligible to apply to the program.

Those who meet the criteria are eligible to receive monthly discounts on internet services and discounts on laptop, tablets, and desktop computers.

Over 350,000 Georgians are already enrolled in the program.

“My office is standing by to help Georgians access affordable broadband through this new service. Just call us at 470-786-7800 or visit Ossoff.senate.gov,” Sen. Ossoff said.

“Providing access to broadband helps our schools, jobs, businesses, health care facilities, and more thrive in a 21st century economy and increasingly-connected society,” said Sen. Rev. Warnock. “Lowering rising costs and making reliable internet more accessible and affordable are among my top priorities, and I am thrilled to hear countless Georgia households have taken advantage of the Affordable Connectivity Program. I am encouraging all Georgians to call our office at 770-694-7828 for help, or to check their eligibility at www.fcc.gov/ACP and get enrolled today.”

Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock also secured at least $100 million to expand broadband coverage across Georgia as part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
